Things to Do in Vaughan
When in Vaughan, you have to go to Canada’s Wonderland, if only because everyone will ask you whether or not you did. The antique carousel is serene while the 70 metre Behemoth is perfectly terrifying. Pick the experience that suits you best, we don’t judge. Would you prefer going just 24 metre into the air? Get aboard Dragon Fyre instead, and no one has to know you skipped Behemoth. If you need a little cooling off after all of the excitement, just hop over to Splash Works and enjoy the slides. Then, of course, you can enjoy amusement park food and beverages like beavertails, hotdogs and slushies.
If you're a fashion aficionado or a shopping fiend, you can’t miss Vaughan Mills, home to outlets and specialty stores including Nordstrom Rack, Best Buy, Adidas Outlet, MAC Cosmetics and the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre. Pick up gifts for friends, something for the loved ones and an extra special item for yourself. Maple Nature Reserve Nature Walk
In Vaughan, there’s always a green space nearby. The Sonoma Heights neighbourhood walk is an easy 2.6 km and the Maple Nature Reserve Nature Walk is 3.2 km of easy to moderate terrain. The City of Vaughan also has 146 soccer fields, 130 tennis courts, 12 indoor pools and lots of other facilities to keep you active.
Looking for nightlife? Choose a dance floor with hip hop, reggae, soca or club anthems. Or maybe the Posh Supper Club is more your style.
Vaughan Neighbourhoods & Districts

This suburban area enjoys excellent walkability and bikeability. It's also home to the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, the largest publicly funded art gallery in Canada that focuses exclusively on Canadian and Indigenous art.
