Order the Deluxe Picnic Experience for two adults online. The package features a wicker basket with picnic accessories and cutlery. Included with the food, you’ll receive delicious jams, sauces, homemade hummus, fresh fruit, macarons for dessert and refreshing drinks. Kid-friendly meals and activities can also be added to the picnic order.

Niagara Region

Picnix Niagara

Picnix Niagara offers a portable picnic cart that makes it easy to transport your picnic to any of the beautiful surrounding parks. Choose the perfect setting for an al fresco dining experience with savoury meals and delicious desserts.

Carts contain a five-course gourmet meal that can feed two to three people and include an assortment of local farm-to-table sourced food. Vegetarian and dairy-free menu options are available. And you can add on picnic accessories like chairs, umbrellas, flowers and outdoor games like bocce ball.

When: Book your basket in advance, including next-day bookings. Carts can be used for up to two hours upon pickup. If it looks like rain, you can cancel or reschedule your picnic up to 12 hours in advance of your booking. 
Where: Pickup is available by the gazebo at Queen’s Royal Park in Niagara-on-the-Lake at 12:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. Look for the large trailer shaped like a picnic basket, you won’t miss it.

Uncork Niagara

This package includes a professional driver/guide for transportation to winery destinations, for tastings and shopping at their boutiques. If you prefer beer, ask about tastings available at local breweries.

Where: Pickup and drop-off at your hotel in Niagara Falls or Niagara-on-the-Lake is included in your package.

Riverbend Inn and Vineyard

Share a picnic for two while enjoying the charming landscape of Niagara-on-the-Lake. You can choose from four different picnic options made by the chefs at Oaklands at Riverbend Inn. Guests of the Riverbend Inn and non-hotel guests can book premium or deluxe picnic packages. Bikes are also available on a first-come-first-serve basis.

When: Available Friday to Sunday from May 24 to September 29, 2024. Orders must be placed in advance by 4:30 p.m.

Southeastern Ontario

The County Picnic

Soak up the summer sun at Prince Edward County Lavender Farm with a picnic among the lavender fields. This exclusive menu features local products, including homemade lavender lemonade and gelato. Be sure to book quickly, as spots are limited.

If you’re celebrating something special, the VIPicnic Experience can help make those moments memorable. The picnic spread, which uses locally sourced products, includes decorations. Special touches, such as music, gifts, or a photographer, can also be added.

When: The lavender Picnic dates are July 6, 7, 13, and 14. Contact for availability for the VIPicnic Experience.
Where: The Lavender Picnic is hosted at Prince Edward County Lavender Farm, 732 Closson Road, Hillier. For the VIPicnic experience, the county picnic can accommodate any location.

Huron, Perth, Waterloo and Wellington

Stratford Festival

The Stratford Festival is well known for its major theatrical productions and brings theatre lovers from all over the world to enjoy great entertainment. But it’s not the only attraction. Local parks offer picturesque picnic locations, such as Shakespeare Gardens or Tom Patterson Island. Enjoy a relaxing walk along the Avon River and spend some time admiring the flowers and your surroundings.

When: Pre-order picnics at least 48 hours in advance through the Stratford Festival Box Office (1-800-567-1600), or order online at the time of purchasing a performance ticket. Picnic baskets must be picked up within two hours before the show performance and are available from April to October.

Summer Picnic Experience at Stratford Perth Museum

Enjoy a picnic on the beautiful grounds of Stratford Perth Museum surrounded by nature. Pack your picnic basket and book a  B.Y.O.P. (Bring Your Own Picnic) experience. The Biblichor picnic includes access to scented books that you can read on your picnic. Cribbage & Croquet experience includes a cribbage board, a deck of cards and two croquet playing sets. The Love Letters option offers you a romantic spot to write something creative. Fans of vinyl records will enjoy the 45's in the Sunshine experience. The perfect picnic spot is arranged to listen to the museum’s classic vinyl record collection.

Rustic Rendezvous Luxury Picnics and Events

Whether planning a simple picnic or an elaborate proposal, Rustic Rendezvous Luxury Picnics and Events has got you covered.

Choose from one of four themes, such as Rustic Elegance or Pink Posies & Prosecco. Indoor and outdoor picnic packages include an overhead decorated table rod, a picnic table, full table decor and cloth linens, blankets and pillows, dinnerware glassware and flatware, chilled water, non-alcoholic sparkling wine and an extra basket with games, fans, bug spray and sunscreen.

Southwestern Ontario

Udderly Ridiculous Farm Life

If you love animals and country views, join the alpacas while enjoying a unique picnic experience. Picnic packages come with locally sourced cheeses and snacks in addition to the delicious award-winning Udderly Ridiculous ice cream. There’s an option to upgrade to a deluxe version of the picnic package that includes aged cheese and additional items. Consider adding other farm experiences to your visit, including alpaca walks, goat yoga and even goat cuddles. 

Don’t forget to bring a hat, sunscreen and outdoor shoes while you enjoy your outdoor picnic. Please note that the picnic experience is not suitable for children under 16.

Pamper yourself and your loved ones with this luxury picnic experience. Get comfortable and Proper Picnics will take care of all the details. Start by choosing your preferred picnic location or choose from one of Proper Picnics’ recommendations. Picnic packages range from the Timeless for two guests to the Gold Luxe for eight guests. Enjoy a curated charcuterie of gourmet cheeses, cured meats, crackers, marinated shrimp and mushrooms, as well as seasonal fruits and vegetables.

Three types of children’s packages are also available that include kid-friendly meals and décor.

When: This picnic is a two-hour experience with year-round bookings available and can be rescheduled in the event of a rainy day.
Where: Picnics are available within the Windsor area. Additional fees will be applied outside of this area.

Berrylicious Picnics in the Patch

Start with a berry picking lesson and tasting and learn all there is to know about this sweet treat. There are several picnic experiences to choose from, including a Family Picnic in the Patch for four and a Couples Picnic for two.

Family baskets include sandwiches, drinks, a jelly roll bar and blueberry Jello topped with whipped cream.

Picnic-to-go options are available for those on the go. Enjoy fresh cheese, crackers, berries and veggies to take with you. They can be ordered in advance or picked up while you visit or stop by.

Their signature style blends modern and bohemian elements. The Friends in Low Places theme brings the rugged Western aesthetic to the table. For a glamourous pink theme reminiscent of an early 2000’s girl’s night, try the Rose All Day. Experiences can be customized.

The Little Things Luxury Picnics & Sleepovers

Celebrate any occasion with a stylish picnic. Choose from a variety of themes, packages and locations, customized to suit your picnic preference.

Various upgrades are available to elevate your picnic packages, such as renting a cabana or umbrella for shade, custom flowers for added decoration and projectors and a screen for a movie-themed experience. Additional food options for purchase include lunch boxes, fruit platters or custom cakes. 

They don’t only do daytime picnics. Plan an extra special overnight sleepover experience for your little one. Choose from a variety of themes and add custom cupcakes, cookies, candies and a charcuterie just for kids. Glamping packages are also available.

When: Complete the online contact form to book your picnic. Bookings are available year-round and are 2.5 hours in length. Sleepover and glamping experiences are longer. Keep an indoor location in mind in case it rains, rescheduling is also a possibility.
Where: Choose a location, including your backyard, inside your home or your favourite spot. The delivery fee is based on the distance from Orillia to the location of the picnic.
