Order the Deluxe Picnic Experience for two adults online. The package features a wicker basket with picnic accessories and cutlery. Included with the food, you’ll receive delicious jams, sauces, homemade hummus, fresh fruit, macarons for dessert and refreshing drinks. Kid-friendly meals and activities can also be added to the picnic order.

Niagara Region

Picnix Niagara

Picnix Niagara offers you a portable picnic cart that makes it easy to transport your picnic to any of the beautiful surrounding parks. Choose the perfect setting for an al fresco dining experience with savoury meals and delicious desserts.

Carts contain a five-course gourmet meal that can feed two to three people and include an assortment of local farm-to-table sourced food. Vegetarian and dairy-free options are available. The following picnic accessories can also be rented:

• sun umbrellas
• games that can be played outdoors

When: Book your basket in advance, including next-day bookings. Carts can be used for up to two hours upon pickup. If it looks like rain, you can cancel or reschedule your picnic up to 12 hours in advance of your booking. 
Where: Pickup is available by the gazebo at Queen’s Royal Park in Niagara-on-the-Lake at 12:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. Look for the large trailer shaped like a picnic basket, you won’t miss it.

Your picnic comes with everything you need and is available for groups of up to eight people. Enjoy a sweet or savoury charcuterie board. Dietary restrictions such as vegan, halal, gluten-free or diary-free can be accommodated.

The County Picnic

Southwestern Ontario

Stratford Festival

The Stratford Festival is well known for its major theatrical productions and brings theatre lovers from all over the world to enjoy great entertainment. But it’s not the only attraction. Local parks offer picturesque picnic locations, such as Shakespeare Gardens or Tom Patterson Island. Enjoy a relaxing walk along the Avon River and spend some time admiring the flowers and your surroundings.

When: Pre-order picnics at least 48 hours in advance through the Stratford Festival Box Office (1-800-567-1600), or order online at the time of purchasing a performance ticket. Picnic baskets must be picked up within two hours before the show performance and are available from April to October.

Summer Picnic Experience at Stratford Perth Museum

Enjoy a picnic on the beautiful grounds of Stratford Perth Museum surrounded by nature. Pack your picnic basket and book a  B.Y.O.P. (Bring Your Own Picnic) experience. The Biblichor picnic includes access to scented books that you can read on your picnic. Cribbage & Croquet experience includes a cribbage board, a deck of cards and two croquet playing sets. The Love Letters option offers you a romantic spot to write something creative. Fans of vinyl records will enjoy the 45's in the Sunshine experience. The perfect picnic spot is arranged to listen to the museum’s classic vinyl record collection.

Udderly Ridiculous Farm Life

If you love animals and country views, join the alpacas while enjoying a unique picnic experience. Picnic packages come with locally sourced cheeses and snacks in addition to the delicious award-winning Udderly Ridiculous ice cream. There’s an option to upgrade to a deluxe version of the picnic package that includes aged cheese and additional items. Consider adding other farm experiences to your visit, including alpaca walks, goat yoga and even goat cuddles.  

Don’t forget to bring a hat, sunscreen and outdoor shoes while you enjoy your outdoor picnic. Please note that the picnic experience is not suitable for children under 16.

Jem & Co Luxury Picnics

Whether you're looking for a picnic proposal package or picnic ideas for couples, Jen & Co will not only make your luxury picnic experience delightful, it’ll be a moment you can treasure. Choose from three different packages: Classic, Deluxe or Luxe Life. 

The Classic Cheese & Meat Platter offers two to four guests up to three types of local cheese and deli meats to enjoy with baguettes, dips and seasonal fruit. Larger groups of up to seven people will appreciate the offerings of the Deluxe package, which includes games and additional drink selections. The Luxe Life includes special features such as a floral arch, balloons and a photo stand to make the experience photo-perfect. 

When: Complete the booking form with your event details, including date, time and location requested, selected theme and menu options. Picnics are three hours in length.

Proper Picnics

Pamper yourself and your loved ones with this luxury picnic experience. Get comfortable and Proper Picnics will take care of all the details. Start by choosing your preferred picnic location or choose from one of Proper Picnics’ recommendations. Picnic packages range from the Timeless for two guests to the Gold Luxe for eight guests. Enjoy a curated charcuterie of gourmet cheeses, cured meats, crackers, marinated shrimp and mushrooms, as well as seasonal fruits and vegetables.

Three types of children’s packages are also available that include kid-friendly meals and décor.

When: This picnic is a two-hour experience with year-round bookings available. Picnics can be rescheduled in the event of a rainy day.
Where: Picnics are available within the Windsor area. Additional fees will be applied outside of this area.

Berrylicious Picnics in the Patch

Book a blueberry-inspired picnic at Berrylicious Fruit Farm. Start with a berry picking lesson and tasting and learn all there is to know about this sweet treat. There are several picnic experiences to choose from, including a Family Picnic in the Patch for four and a Couples Picnic for two. Family baskets include sandwiches, drinks, a jelly roll bar and blueberry Jello topped with whipped cream, 

Picnic-to-go options are available for those on the go. Enjoy fresh cheese, crackers, berries and veggies to take with you. They can be ordered in advance or picked up while you visit or stop by. 

When: Real-time bookings are available online from June until September. Confirm rain policy with Berrylicious.

Pair your picnic experience with an exciting theme. The signature style blends a modern and bohemian atmosphere. The Sante Fe has a rugged touch with natural details and masculine and Western tones. For a feminine ambience, try the Rose All Day. It features pink accents with the right amount of glamour. Experiences can be customized.

Central Ontario

The Little Things Luxury Picnics & Sleepovers

Celebrate any occasion with a stylish picnic. Choose from a variety of themes and packages, customized to suit your picnic preference. You can even choose where you’d like to go on a picnic. 

There are various upgrades available to bring your picnic packages to another level, such as rental of cabana or umbrella for sunshade, custom flowers for added decoration and even projectors and screen for a movie-themed experience. Additional food options for purchase include lunch boxes, fruit platters or custom cakes. 

They don’t only do daytime picnics. Plan an extra special overnight sleepover experience for your little one. Choose from a variety of themes and add custom cupcakes, cookies, candies and a charcuterie just for kids. Glamping packages are also available.

When: Complete the online contact form to book your picnic. Bookings are available year-round and are 2.5 hours in length (sleepover and glamping experiences would be longer in length). Keep an indoor location in mind in the event it rains, rescheduling is also a possibility.

Northern Ontario

Hovr Aviation

Beautiful views and good food await you on this picnic experience that will take you to new heights. Not only will you get to experience an amazing helicopter tour, but once you land, enjoy a custom picnic basket at a private spot, equipped with delicious food from local restaurants and shops. 

The flight is 35 minutes and up to one hour on the ground. There are two helicopters to choose from: Helicopter R44 will accommodate up to three passengers and the Helicopter Astar can carry up to five.

Where: Start your Helicopter tour from a Muskoka hangar at 1255 Gravenhurst Parkway, Gravenhurst. Alternative pickup locations can be arranged.

La Fromagerie

Sudbury’s boutique restaurant extends its warm hospitality to include luxe picnic offerings. Book a cozy picnic for two or gather seven of your closest friends to feast on a delicious graze table. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and keto food options are available to purchase, or you can bring your own food.

Picnic and Deluxe Packages include setting up indoor or outdoor picnics. Picnic settings can accommodate two to eight people, with an extra fee for additional guests. Do-it-yourself picnic rentals are also offered.

When: Bookings are available all year round, however, winter and spring picnics will only be offered indoors.
Where: Picnic setups are available in your backyard, local parks or locations in Sudbury and the surrounding area. 

Superior Picnic Adventures

Purchase a grab-and-go picnic meal, prepared by partner restaurants such as Red Pebbles Café, Drifter's Restaurant or the Grill Shack and follow the itinerary to your picnic location and adventure. Explore places such as Lloyd’s Lookout, Casque Isles Trail or Hurkett Cove Nature Trail.
