Whether you prefer fast roller coasters, tall ziplines or big wave pools, there is no shortage of heart-pumping experiences in Ontario.
Rollercoasters at Canada’s Wonderland
Test your nerves of steel on the daring rides at Canada’s largest amusement park. Home to 17 roller coasters, Canada’s Wonderland has a caliber of coasters that make it a top coaster destination you’ve got to visit.
Travel the length of 12 football fields in under 3.5 minutes on the Yukon Striker. The highlight is the scary 68 metres (223 feet) ascent, then the nerve-racking 3 second suspension dangling at the peak, followed by the abrupt and terrifying 90 degree drop into an underwater tunnel. If you’re looking for an even higher coaster ascent, try the Leviathan –the biggest ride with the tallest peak in the park that travels faster than most trains.
You can easily spend an entire day at this thrill-seekers dreamland. Canada’s Wonderland has everything from log flumes to lazy rivers, loop-de-loops to steep drops — there’s something for everyone.
