Major golf tournaments

RBC Canadian Open

Ontario has no shortage of must-see, pro-sports events, and golf is no exception. Major golf tournaments are happening all over the province but if you want to experience one of the most anticipated of the year, get your tickets for the RBC Canadian Open.

The top three golfers from the PGA Canada Tour are given entry into the Canadian Open.

It takes place at different golf courses each year and it’s one of the oldest continuously running tournaments on the PGA Tour. Tickets provide access to the grounds and “miles of front-row seating” gives you an up-close look at your favourite PGA Tour stars.

Details: TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley will host the RBC Canadian Open June 3–8, 2025

Location: 18821 Main Street, Alton

Fortinet Cup Championship

Another highly anticipated golf event is the Fortinet Cup Championship, the PGA Tour America’s season-ending event. Watch 10 future PGA Tour stars earn their spot on the Korn Ferry Tour, where professional golfers compete to gain entry into the PGA Tour’s following season.

The Fortinet Cup takes place at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley, in Caledon, from September 2–8, 2024. Its sprawling parkland layout, featuring three of Canada’s top 100 courses, has long been a fan-favourite for golf enthusiasts.

In 2023, the property began renovation under the direction of architect Ian Andrew, transforming the North Course into a venue for championship competition. It features a new clubhouse and flagship restaurant, and, coming soon, you can book overnight accommodations in one of their finely curated cabins for a truly elevated golf experience.
