The Redblacks made their team debut during the 2014 season and two years later they won their first Grey Cup Championship. To date, the Ottawa Redblacks have made three appearances in the Grey Cup finals.

TD Place Stadium

The Redblacks play their home games at TD Place Stadium, located inside Ottawa’s celebrated urban park, Lansdowne Park. TD Place Stadium is also home to the professional soccer club Atletico Ottawa, which competes in the Premiere League. TD Place Stadium has been the host venue for FIFA tournaments, Olympic Games and Grey Cups, and it’s an awesome venue for catching a Canadian football game.

The stadium is an accessible environment, and if you get hungry, there’s a great selection of food to choose from—everything from vegan tacos to delicious grab 'n go meals.

How to get to TD Place Stadium

TD Place Stadium is located at 1015 Bank Street in Ottawa’s Glebe neighbourhood. Hang on to your Redblacks tickets because they include free public transit on OC Transpo for 3 hours before and after the game.

Here are various ways to get to the game:

  • car: park in one of Ottawa’s park & shuttle lots; a free shuttle service will bring you to TD Place Stadium

  • OC Transpo: check the bus schedules, which feature various bus routes that will take you directly to TD Place; accessible transit transportation is also available on routes to TD Place

  • bike or walk: Lansdowne Park is conveniently located beside the Rideau Canal, so it’s easy to bike or walk along the Rideau Canal using the multi-use pathways or cycling lanes; choose from 600 bike parking spaces, with secure bike parking provided for game days

Where to buy Ottawa Redblacks tickets

If you’re after season tickets, flex packages or premium seating, make sure to head to the Redblacks website to get your priority access tickets. TD Place also has its own ticket marketplace, or you can get tickets from Ticketmaster.

Tips for the best fan experience

At TD Place Stadium, the South Side fans and the North Side fans are locked in an intense rivalry—one that was around long before the Redblacks even existed—so choose your seating carefully. The rivalry is friendly, but it is serious. You can even buy merch to support your favourite side.

It’s a truly unique experience to hear the competing chants from each side of the stadium. By the end of the day, both sides will unite in cheers and chants to celebrate their beloved Ottawa Redblacks. One chant you absolutely need to know is the field goal chant: throw your hands up like a field goal, point toward the sky, and chant “YES!”
