Although it was established in 2005, Toronto FC joined MLS in 2007, making it the first Canadian franchise to join the league. There are several ways to get to BMO Field, the best fuss-free method is by public transportation.
By Car: Take the Don Valley Parkway to Lakeshore Boulevard from the east or the Gardiner Expressway that leads to Lakeshore Boulevard from the west.
Streetcar: Take the 511 Bathurst streetcar or 509 Harbourfront streetcar to the Exhibition Place.
By Bus: Take the 29 Dufferin, 121A Fort York-Esplanade or 121C Fort York Esplanade to the Princes’ Gates loop on the Exhibition Place grounds.
Train: Take the GO train on the Lakeshore West or East line to Exhibition GO, located outside of the Exhibition Place grounds.
Bicycle: There are pedestrian friendly routes that lead to Exhibition Place, as well as plenty of bicycle racks for cyclists on the Exhibition Place grounds.
Parking: Underground parking, pay and display and attendant booth parking are available at the various parking lots around Exhibition Place. There are a few wheelchair accessible parking spots, hybrid vehicle parking and parking for parents with small children throughout the parking lots. Download the map to locate parking.
