York, Durham and Headwaters

Pumpkinfest at Downey’s Farm

Discover thousands of pumpkins during the fun filled Pumpkinfest at Downey’s Farm.

A Caledon staple for over 100 years, Downey’s Farm is a fourth-generation family farm that welcomes visitors from the Greater Toronto Area and beyond.

Your kids will enjoy travelling on wagon rides, petting the farm animals, cycling down the pedal cart track and playing in a three-hectare corn maze at the Pumpkinfest Play Area.

Admission information: Tickets to Downey’s Pumpkinfest must be purchased online, ideally one to three days before your visit. Pumpkinfest runs from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., from September 23 to October 31, 2023.

Harvest Festival at Pingle’s Farm

Pick your own apples, pumpkins, strawberries, corn and tomatoes during the Harvest Festival at Pingle’s Farm.

Toddlers and older kids alike will love exploring the 2.5-hectare circus-themed corn maze and Pingle’s Playland. Enjoy a meal from Pingle’s fall-inspired menu, which includes pizza, brisket, fried apples and other sweet and savoury treats. Pair your meal with a hot drink from Pingle’s Coffee Shack.

Admission information: Get tickets for the Harvest Festival at Pingle’s Farm online. Tickets include entry to the pick-your-own areas, playland, animal area, corn maze, wagon rides and food and drink area. The festival will run throughout September, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Buzzing Bees Adventure Farm

Stroll through the scenic pumpkin field to find your perfect gourd at the Buzzing Bees Adventure Farm.

In addition to the pumpkins, shop for honey and maple syrup, and wander past straw bales and corn stalks. The highlight of the farm (especially for the kids) is a sweeping 3.5-hectare corn maze.

The farm also features a pedal kart track, pumpkin bowling, an elastic band shooting range, toddler pedal tractors and more.

Admission information: Admission is $8 per person and free for children two and under. The farm is open from September 14 to October 29, 2023. Visit on Fridays from noon to 5:00 p.m. or Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Niagara Region

Warner Ranch and Pumpkin Farm

Explore pumpkins of all shapes and sizes at the Warner Ranch and Pumpkin Farm. You’ll find the perfect Halloween decorations among the thousands of gourds, corn stalks, hay bales, apples and straw.

Don’t miss the animal viewing area, corn maze, unicorn rides and Belgian horse-drawn hay rides. Note that the horse-drawn hay rides are only available on the weekends.

Admission information: The farm is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., between September 2 and October 31, 2023. Admission to the farm is free, but some activities charge a small fee.

Fall Festival at Howells Farm

There are plenty of fun attractions to enjoy this year at the Howells Pumpkin Farm.

Kids will love bouncing on the “Jumping Pillow’, a safe, inflatable trampoline or running through the “Super Corny Cobbs Maze Adventure”, a fun corn maze that features interactive games with varying levels of difficulty.

Embark on a scenic wagon ride over the rolling hills and learn about how the corn, pumpkins and sunflowers grow. Little ones are invited to ride a cart train around the property, visit the friendly animals in the Animal Farm and zoom down the giant 12-metre slide.

Admission information: The main Market Area of the farm is free to enter, but you’ll need to reserve your time to enter the Howl’n Theme Area by purchasing a general admission Fun Pass online.

October Pumpkin Patch Festival at Dyment’s Glen Drummond Farm

Celebrate the fall season during the October Pumpkin Patch Festival at Dyment’s Glen Drummond Farm.

Participate in themed activities such as a kid-friendly haunted house, farm play areas, nine-hole mini putt, a Trike Track and a corn trail.

When you need to refuel, head to the Dyment’s Food Truck and Apple Nook for delicious food and drinks.

Admission information: The festival will take place in October 2023. Admission is $16 per person and free for those under two years old. Buy your tickets at the gatehouse on the farm. Only cash is accepted.

Springridge Farm

Be transported back to the 19th century at the historic Springridge Farm. Explore the  expansive pumpkin patch and visit the “Fun Farm Yard”, which includes a crank steam tractor, giant sandbox, farm animals, wagon rides and more.

Large Muskoka chairs invite you to sit and relax while watching over kids playing in the crisp autumn air. Don’t forget to pick up some fresh baked goods to take home with you.

Admission information: Admission to the farmyard costs $9 on weekdays and $12 on weekends and holidays. Pay for your tickets at the entrance with cash or debit.

Farrell’s Pick-Your-Own Farm

Farrell’s Pick-Your-Own Farm is a much-loved fourth-generation farm in the Huron-Kinloss Township’s agricultural community.

Pick your own large pumpkins and enjoy a variety of activities.

Admission information: Contact the farm in advance to book time to spend in the pumpkin patch. Farrell’s is open on Mondays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Fridays from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Fall Festival at Chappell Farms

Find the perfect pumpkin during the Fall Festival at Chappell Farms.

Pumpkin Mania at Rounds Ranch

Experience the fun of fall during Pumpkin Mania at Rounds Ranch.

From tractor rides to the pumpkin patch to the wide range of pumpkin-themed games, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the season. Swing down ziplines, ride on ponies, travel on pedal carts and run through the Low Ropes course. If you’re feeling brave enough, wait until it’s dark out to navigate through the Flashlight Corn Maze.

Admission information: This year’s Pumpkin Mania runs from September 16 to October 29, 2023, on the weekends. Save $2 on admission by booking in advance online. Alternatively, you can buy your tickets at the gate. The “Youth & Adult Pass” costs $24.99 and the “Kids Pass” (for ages 2–9) and the “Senior Pass” (for ages 65+) costs $21.49. Rounds Ranch tickets include a free pumpkin of any size and colour from the pumpkin patch.

Morrison Pumpkin Farm

A family-run pumpkin farm in South Georgian Bay, Morrison Pumpkin Farm offers inviting fall experiences for families.

Kid-friendly activities include exploring the corn maze, checking out the pumpkin patch and admiring the striking fall displays.

Browse the selection of fresh produce like squash, gourds, corn stalks and bales of straw. They’re great for your next fall-themed cooking dish or to decorate your porch for the season.

Admission information: The farm is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from the first week of September to Halloween, October 31, 2023. There is no admission fee.

Wynn Farms

Explore one of the best corn mazes in Ontario at Wynn Farms.

Hundreds of hours of work go into creating this  iconic corn maze, which spans several hectares. The maze is first designed in January, based on a specific Thousands of corn stalks are prepared with a tractor, corn planter and combine in its creation.

Admission information: Admission to enter the corn maze is $10 for guests aged +, $7 for children 2–12 and free for toddlers under two years old. Reservations are not required. Check the farm’s social media accounts to see when the maze is open.

Fall Pumpkin Days at Saunders Farm

Admission information: Visit the farm on Saturdays and Sundays between September 23 and October 31, 2023. Saunders Farm hours of operation are 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tickets must be bought online in advance.

PéPé’s Pumpkin Patch

Discover pumpkins of all shapes and sizes at PéPé’s Pumpkin Patch.
