BMO Field | Destination Toronto

Founded in 1873, the Argos are one of the oldest professional sports teams in North America. Their first cup was won in 1914 and the latest victory was in 2017.

Canadian football differs from American football with a larger size of playing field, deeper end zones and slightly different rules, including the number of players on the field, time-outs, downs, players in motion, scoring and the location of the field goal posts in the end zone. The Argos play in the CFL East Division.

BMO Field

If you haven’t been to an Argos game recently, you might remember their home turf as Rogers Centre. The Argos relocated to BMO Field at the start of their 2016 season and have adopted it as their new home.

Located at 170 Princes' Boulevard at Exhibition Place and near Ontario Place, BMO Field provides seating closer to the action. BMO is an accessible stadium with barrier-free seating and accessible washrooms.

From burgers, sandwiches, a variety of drinks and pizza to jerk chicken poutine and cold beer, there are plenty of food choices at BMO’s food concession to fuel fan energy. BMO is also a contactless venue that only accepts credit and debit cards. There is also a restricted bag policy at BMO Field, so remember to travel light.

How to get to BMO Field
