Brockville
As the first town to be incorporated in Ontario, Brockville has a rich history. It’s home to Canada’s first railway tunnel and has a storied maritime past due to its position on the St. Lawrence River. The “city of the 1000 Islands” provides some of the best opportunities to dive among shipwrecks and explore the islands by boat or kayak.

Where is Brockville?
Brockville is located about an hour’s drive south of Ottawa, an hour east of Kingston and 3.5 hours east of the Greater Toronto Area. The city sits on the shore of the St. Lawrence River, directly across from the United States between two border crossings—the Thousand Islands Bridge and Ogdensburg Port of Entry.
Brockville is accessible via Highway 2 and Highway 401 and can also be reached by car or VIA Rail.
